Ensemble de courtepointe - Paisley

This is a beautiful, lightweight cotton comforter. It's thin, so perfect for warmer weather. I will use it year 'round though because it's so beautiful to look at. The workmanship is lovely, and it looks like it's reversible; I don't know if the manufacturer meant to make it this way, but both sides look quite nice. I use it with an all cotton, thicker comforter I have because I tend to be cold, and so having all my covers be only cotton with no synthetics at all feels really soothing and I think it helps me sleep better. I'm very happy I bought this. It does look exactly like what the photo shows, except it doesn't hang down as far because I have a queen sized bed. The way it's folded in the photo does make it look thicker than it is though, so I'm guessing they've got it folded around a blanket or some such.

Exactly as described! Beautiful and really (!) 100% cotton, inside and out. A heavier weight bedspread that looks classy and drapes nicely, exactly as pictured. Could be used as a lightweight blanket, I suppose, as it does add a layer of warmth, but as a patterned bedspread it adds a lot of oomph factor to the room, especially with a colored throw or accent quilt added. The color is cream with the paisley pattern stitching adding just the lightest touch of golden brown that is very attractive. The shams are the same material, also really nice. So glad to at last have found a spread that lives up to the advertising description.
