Parure de lit romantique crème et blanc

This bedspread is just what I was looking for. It's got a beautiful pattern on it and is the creamy beige color I was looking for, I just love it. I did buy a king size for my queen size bed as I was afraid that after washing it would shrink a bit. To my surprise, it didn't shrink at all AND it came out of the dryer without any wrinkles whatsoever. I don't recommend washing it a lot though because I did have a thread that has started to separate about an inch or two from the quilt itself but it's up by the pillows and I just covered it with a decorative pillow, no big deal, but I don't think I'll be doing much washing as it's in a guest bedroom. I recommend you buy the same size as your bed as it has a pattern stitched that falls just to the edge of each side and the bottom of the bed that is designed to fit the top of the mattress and mine is hanging about 4 inches too long on both sides and the bottom if you get what I mean. Despite the overhang, it doesn't hit the floor so I also bought an eyelet bed skirt to go with it. It's perfect and I'm very happy to have found it and plan on purchasing another one when I finish my master bedroom remodel. There are several different styles to choose from so I'll get one that looks like it can be washed a bit more regularly.

I ordered King because so many people said the King fit their Queen bed; however, I'm assuming they wanted a 'bedspread' look versus a coverlet. If you have a bedskirt that you want to show, then the sizing is correct. It is beautiful and well-made; however 2 things I wasn't enthralled with: that beautiful pattern does not extend to the sides or foot area that hangs over mattress. That part is very plain & rather unattractive. The second thing I think that looks cheap is the back of the pillow covers, which are thin cheap fabric.
